Add an Organization

To add an Organization, select Add Organization from the Main Menu, as shown below:

 

 

The Organization Entry Form will be displayed, as shown below:

 

 

This form allows you to enter the following data fields:

 

Organization Name: The Organization Name will store up to 50 characters. Organization Names should be meaningful, but keeping them somewhat short and to the point will provide for better display on printed reports.

Vendor Number: The Vendor Number is a 50 character field for the management of a long alpha-numeric Vendor Number.

Customer Number:The Customer Number is a 4 character field allowing for a short alpha-numeric Vendor Number.

DBE: Disadvantaged Business Entity. Check this box if this organization is a Disadvantaged Business Entity.

MBE: Minority Business Entity. Check this box if this organization is a Minority Business Entity.

WBE: Women-owned Business Entity. Check this box if this organization is a Women-owned Business Entity.

Insurance Expiration Date: The date that this Organization's insurance policy (bond) expires.

Insurance Required: A check box that allows for the flagging of those Organizations who are required to have insurance.

Special Customer Number: The Special Customer Number is an additional numeric field intended for the population of one-up customer numbers, typically from your accounting system.

Notes: Notes is a 250 character field for abbreviated notes on an Organization.

Tax Group: The Tax Group is a two-character field to identify the State Tax Group for this customer.

Web Site (URL): The Web Site field is a 125 character field for the entry of the Organization's web address.
